Dermal Fillers
Skilfully administered by our experienced medical practioner here at GD Aesthetics.
As we age, our skin becomes drier and less firm. Wrinkles and fine lines start to appear around the mouth, forehead and eyes and we can be left looking and feeling dehydrated, perpetually exhausted and older than we actually are! It doesn't help that we're constantly battling stress, lack of sleep, feeling overworked and the impact of free radicals, all of which can have a damaging effect on the skin.
Dermal fillers can temporarily restore lost volume, reducing fine lines and enhancing the right areas of your face to give the appearance of healthy, hydrated skin without the need for surgery. To arrange an appointment, please book any dermal filler service online. This will include a thorough consultation and advice given from nurse Georgie to achieve your desired result. We will only proceed with your treatment if you feel comfortable to do so. If you would like a complimentary consultation only, please book this option online (under consultations), but please bear in mind we wouldn’t have the time to treat you on this date.
Our line softening treatments are very popular, for a range of well known target areas such as frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet. Please book online to see our prices or contact us for more information on 01256 397081.
Dermal fillers can be a very effective way of enhancing your naturally beautiful features, adding definition to your cheeks, jawline, chin, nose and other areas.
The fillers themselves are made from a substance known as hyaluronic acid (a substance that occurs naturally in the body and is responsible for hydrating tissues). As we age, the body procedures less of its own hyaluronic acid, which ultimately leads to a loss of volume in the face at different points of the ageing process. Your body will break the product down over time (anywhere from 6-18 months), meaning your facial features will return to how they looked before treatment. A common misconception is that all dermal fillers will look fake and obvious – this is not the achieved result with GD Aesthetics! Look fantastic, not plastic!
For optimal results, the combination of dermal fillers and skin peels will allow for a brightening and tightening to the skin. What more could you want!
Common side effects include some bruising and soreness, which will reduce over the following few days. In terms of aftercare, we recommend you drink plenty of water and avoid sunbeds and exposure to excessive heat for 7 days.
Profhilo is an award winning treatment for facial revitalisation and skin remodelling. It is suitable for the face and neck and great at temporarily tightening the skin.
This is the treatment for everyone, hence the number of awards it has received! For those who are starting to witness the first signs of ageing, but are not ready for dermal filler treatment, this is the ideal treatment. At the other end of the ageing spectrum, it is wonderful at temporarily softening things like crepey skin and cross-cross lines. It has to be the perfect tweakment!
Profhilo Treatment - £275
Three Treatments - £750
We recommend a course of 2-3 treatments at one month apart for optimal results. To continue these fabulous results, only one further treatment is recommended every 4-6 months. This ‘tweakment’ treats the whole face or neck.
Some of Our Popular Dermal Filler Treatments:
Tear-Trough (Under Eyes) - £350
The tear-trough treatment adds subtle volume to the under eye area to help with under eye hollows, giving the appearance of being well rested. Results can last for up to one year. Many of our clients choose to carry on maintaining the good work by using Alumier MD home eye products as used by Cheryl Cole Tweedy.
Nose To Mouth Lines - £250
A hyaluronic dermal filler (naturally occurring in the body) will be injected to help smooth the nose to mouth lines. This is one of the first places to lose volume as the ageing process starts. Results last around 9-12 months.
Mouth To Chin Lines - £250
By placing dermal filler strategically here, we can upturn the corners of the mouth to prevent the mouth looking downturned and sad. This can also help with the appearance of jowls. Results last around 9-12 months.

The consultation will cover your medical history. You'll be asked about any allergies you have, and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Georgie will also advise you on what areas would be suitable for your treatment in her professional opinion.
Prior to treatment you will have a strong anaesthetic cream applied, and the dermal fillers that we use all have an added anaesthetic (lidocaine) in them. There may be a slight discomfort and / or sting felt during the treatment, but this doesn’t last. Some clients do not feel anything.
The treatment results on average last anywhere from 6-12 months. This can be longer if you stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
